Innovative Data Solutions was founded on October 1, 1994 by Kyle Brown at the start of the modern commercial digital era. IDS started out as a part-time job for Kyle while he worked full time at Fielder Road Baptist Church to support and expand their technology systems. In the four and half years Kyle worked at Fielder Road, they expanded from having 20 computers on a Novell Network with 600Mb of hard drive space to over 100 workstations on multiple servers supporting over several terabytes of harddrive space. During his time at Fielder Road, Kyle installed the Shelby Systems Nursery Security System into three buildings, installed a video projection system, and developed their Network. After having so much success at Fielder Road in the early 90’s, Kyle left Fielder Road to develop IDS into a company that could more broadly support Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex area non-profits, small businesses, faith-based organizations, and individuals. Over two decades later, IDS has expanded into a very successful small business with several employees and clients located all over the United States..

About Kyle Brown

Mr. Brown has been in the technology world pretty much since the development of Novell and Microsoft Server platforms. He is one of the few that can still support Novell Platforms. Kyle helped develop and setup the sales and service centers in BizMart when Intelligent Electronics purchased the franchise and was promoted to District Manager and managed Texas, Arizona, Missouri and New Mexico. There was a turning point in March of 993 when his second child was born and diagnosed with Cutis Leukemia. His child had a tumor on the back of his head that grew to the size of a small baseball and had to be surgically removed twice. After prayer and the grace of God Blake was cured without any chemo or treatment beyond the two surgeries. This young man is an adult, graduated Yale University in May of 2015 and is well on his way toward a very successful life. We give God the credit for this miracle and is what lead Kyle into helping non-profit entities such as churches.
